In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Raleigh; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in North Carolina are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 amβ9:30 pm. It is closed on Monday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (919) 779-3588. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, pandahouseraleigh.com.

Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Raleigh follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Authentic Chinese food. They have a variety to choose from. I recommend the General Tao chicken and vegetable Lo mein. Buy two eggrolls. Worth it.

This spot is quiet and spaciousβsuch a nice vibe for dining in! The food tastes way better here than it does takeout, honestly. And the chefs are so thoughtful they even cooked the veggies extra soft just for my momβs teeth. Total gem of a place with the sweetest service!

I have to sayβIβm pretty impressed with this spot. The Chinese-American takeout I grew up with in Chicagoland is different from what Iβve found on the East Coast and throughout the Mid-Atlantic, and Iβve been chasing that nostalgia for a while. Panda House brings a little bit of it back. Letβs start with the egg rolls, because they deserve their own moment. These things are massive, clearly homemade, and packed with flavor. This is not your typical Food Lion strip-mall egg roll thatβs 97% bland cabbage and 3% mystery meat. These are full-on Flavor Town (yes, Guy Fieri would approve). Easily some of the best egg rolls Iβve hadβnot just in Raleigh, but across the DMV and Philly. The rest of the menu holds up as well. Everything Iβve tried has been solid, and the portion sizes are generousβdefinitely enough for leftovers the next day. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable, which makes the value here hard to beat. Final thought: This is my go-to Chinese takeout spot. I literally drive past other places to come hereβand that says it all. Do yourself a favor and make Panda House your go-to as well. Itβs solid.

I was surprised by the portions on my first visit! Super generous and genuine. The taste suits my appetite not too salty or greasy. The service is timely, the experience is comfortable, and Iβll definitely be back!

I have been disappointed many times before from plenty of places but when I say this is beyond a waste of my money that's what I mean the rice is very bland no flavor and salty just as well as the chicken is very salty it has no flavor it's just salty..she's not too friendly The prices are a little more expensive than other places where I've been I can't even give it no stars cuz I'm all the way around disappointed my dogs will eat the rest of this smh.. if you love Chinese food like I do then you'll understand what I mean this is not it..
